Last updated: January 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hyperscrape, Inc., a subsidiary of its parent company Sense, Inc. ("we"), handles personal information in connection with the Hyperscrape platform. Where this Policy refers to "we" or "us", it means Hyperscrape, Inc. and, where relevant, Sense, Inc. acting as its parent.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, and authentication details when you register.
  • Billing information — processed by our payment provider; we store a customer identifier and your credit balance, not full card numbers.
  • Usage data — runs you start, page scrapes consumed, API requests, and log data used to operate and secure the Service.
  • Content you provide — the inputs you supply to scrapers and the outputs they produce, stored on your behalf.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, and similar information collected automatically.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to provide and secure the Service, process payments, meter usage, provide support, communicate with you about your account, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Scraped data

Data you extract using the Service is your content. You are the controller of any personal data contained in that content, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and process it. We act as a processor for that content as described in our Data Processing Addendum.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal information on the bases of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating the Service, your consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting, database, payment, and infrastructure providers), under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and where required by law. We may disclose information to comply with valid legal process or to protect our rights and users.

6. Data retention

We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal obligations. Scraped datasets are retained for a fixed retention period (currently 30 days), after which they may be deleted. You can export or delete your content at any time.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of incidents where required.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through the form at hyperscrape.com/contact. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. International transfers

We may process information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time and will post the revised version with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
