Collects news articles from Google News' public RSS feeds — reliable and key-free. Three ways to target coverage, combinable in one run:
- Search queries — full Google News search syntax (
"exact phrase",site:reuters.com,when:7d, …). - Topic sections — WORLD, NATION, BUSINESS, TECHNOLOGY, ENTERTAINMENT, SCIENCE, SPORTS or HEALTH headline feeds.
- Locations — geo headline feeds for a city or region (e.g. "New York").
Leave all three empty to get the overall Top Stories feed. Each article item includes the headline, publisher name and site, canonical Google News link, GUID, ISO publish date, a plain-text snippet, related coverage links from the same cluster, and an image when the feed provides one.
