About

Given one or more Instagram usernames (or profile URLs), extracts each account's most recent posts with full engagement stats: shortcode, post URL, caption (plus extracted hashtags and mentions), like and comment counts, timestamp, media type (image / video / carousel), video view counts, image URLs, dimensions and accessibility caption.

Complements the Instagram Profile Scraper (which focuses on bio/followers): this one pushes one item per post, with the profile's follower/post totals attached to every item for context.

Data sources, in order of preference:

  1. Instagram's public web_profile_info JSON endpoint (tried on two hosts)
  2. Modern embedded relay timeline JSON in the profile page HTML
  3. Legacy embedded edge_owner_to_timeline_media JSON
  4. og: meta tags (profile totals only — used to report why no posts were found)

Instagram aggressively blocks automated traffic, so this scraper uses the premium Web Unlocker tier.

Premium — uses the managed web unlocker to get past anti-bot protection.
